​A Schengen visa is required for persons of certain nationalities who wish to visit the Schengen countries (Sweden included). Here is a list of foreign citizens who require a visa for visiting Sweden. 

When issuing visas, Sweden uses a service provider called
VFS Global to collect the application. Please contact them directly to book an appointment at any of the Visa Application Centers.
