Swedish General Election 2018:
The Swedish general election takes place on September 8, and it is going to be possible to vote in advance at the Swedish Consulate in Chicago between August 16 and August 24. The hours for voting are;
·         August 16, 17, 18, 21, 23 and 24 between 10am and 2.30pm
·         August 20 and 22 between 2pm and 7pm

 Visiting hours (subject to change so please call in advance)*:

Monday and Wednesday: 2pm to 5pm

Tuesday, Thursday and Friday: 10am to 2pm   

 *These are our regular visiting hours. Please note that the Consulate may change these hours due to holidays, work away from the Consulate and that it therefore is important that you schedule an appointment before your visit.

Access to the building 

Due to changes in the building security we appreciate it if you call or email to schedule an appointment even if you plan on coming during visiting hours. This is important since all visitors need to be registered to be granted access to the 19th floor.
